SDC 2023 Event system UX
The Samsung Developer Conference is an annual event for developers around the world held by Samsung Electronics. Following last year, H9 produced the Samsung Developer Conference 23 site and conducted UX/GUI/PUB.
2023 is a specially hybrid event, which minimizes user confusion in the registration process and has been established by considering information that should be emphasized to users by period.
Overview
The event site, SDC, had to configure the site to achieve the user's desired purpose based on the time of the event. Before and during the event, we focused on delivery that encourages users to participate, After the event, the design was carried out with a focus on accessibility to facilitate information exploration.
SDC23 Improvements
As the number of offline participants expanded compared to last year, we wanted to maximize the hybrid event experience by providing ‘enhancement of usability’, ‘add online registration and session reservation functions,’ and ‘clear visual expression methods that increase the attention of the site.’

It provides content suitable for the time of the event and induces interest in participating in the event by utilizing Key Visual. Through the production of the Responsive Web, you can experience it optimized for hybrid events on mobile.
Provide clear usage experience for each type of event participation
Clearly differentiate online and offline registration types so that you can choose ‘Online’ or ‘In-person’ event participation types without confusion. You can schedule sessions in advance depending on the type of participation in the event. and It also provides pop-up notifications before the live starts so you can watch the sessions you're interested in without missing them. Depending on the type of participation in the event, you can check information on registration benefits such as badges. It also provides a quick view of scheduled or bookmarked session information.
Live Room configuration provides a vivid viewing experience on the day of the event
The Live Room Page, where you can watch live sessions on the day of the event, provides clear live progress. It also provides a floating button to enter the live room to increase access to live sessions.
Providing on-site menus to provide useful information for offline event activities
Provides a wide range of on-site event content that can be experienced offline for both online and offline participants. You can access Tech Square, which provides thematic exhibition content, and the Samsung C-Lab menu, which provides information on Samsung corporate ventures and startups.
